Fantastique / Fantastic
A demon hunter like no other
In Wynonna Earp, the supernatural western adapted from the comic book of the same name, Melanie Scrofano plays Wyatt Earp's great-granddaughter, tasked with sending back to hell the demons haunting the town of Purgatory. Sarcastic, battered and utterly endearing, her heroine turned the series into a cult favourite.
The actress made a lasting impression by shooting an entire season while concealing — and then embracing on screen — her pregnancy, making Wynonna television's first pregnant demon hunter. The show's devoted fan community, the “Earpers”, also celebrates its inclusivity, embodied by the iconic WayHaught couple.
In 2021, those passionate fans, voting online, awarded her the “Fantastic” trophy of the World Women Heroes Awards — to a heroine as flawed as she is irresistible.
